Russian-Mexican diplomatic relations were established in 1890. The subject of a joint issue of postage stamps of Russia and Mexico - monuments. Peter and Paul fortress - a historical and military engineering monument of St. Petersburg. Founded in may, 1703 on small hare island in the Neva river mouth. Is an ensemble of architectural structures, built by the French engineer J. G. Lambert.
