Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840–1893) - the great Russian composer, conductor, teacher, musical and public figure. The stamp depicts a portrait, a facsimile of Tchaikovsky and the Moscow state Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (monument of cultural heritage of Russia), on the sidelines of the post block notes ballet "Nutcracker”, the song of the lyre, and branch tied with ribbon.
